At Mountain Skag, your privacy matters. We’re outdoor-loving, post-mission gear-slinging humans, not data-hungry creeps. This policy outlines what we collect, why we collect it, and how we treat your info like a fresh bakery pie: with care.

What We Collect (And Why We’re Not Creeps)

When you buy from us, sign up to our newsletter, or just have a stickybeak around the site, we may collect:

  • Shipping & billing address
  • Phone number (if entered)
  • Order details
  • Payment info (handled securely via Shopify — we don’t store credit card numbers)
  • Your IP address and browsing behavior (via cookies & analytics)

This info helps us:

  • Send you your gear
  • Contact you about your order
  • Improve the site and our products
  • Send you marketing (only if you’ve opted in — no spam, we promise)

Cookies: Not the Yum Kind

Like most websites, we use cookies. These are little digital crumbs that help us:

  • Ask us to correct it
  • Ask us to delete it

Data Storage

Your info lives on Shopify’s secure servers and other services we use. We do our best to keep it safe and encrypted — but no system is 100% bulletproof (not even our beanies).

We may update this policy from time to time. If we do, we’ll post the new version here and update the “Last updated” date above. Big changes? We’ll let you know via email or newsletter.
