Welcome to Mountain Skag. By shopping with us, browsing our site, or even just loitering in our footer, you’re agreeing to the following terms. Don’t worry — we’ll keep it short and in plain English.

🏕 1. Overview

Mountain Skag is a New Zealand-based brand selling outdoor-inspired apparel for post-mission life — caps, tees, sweatshirts, beanies, and good vibes. When you use our site, you agree to these terms and all applicable laws (local and international).

💳 2. Orders, Payment & Pricing

  • All prices are in NZD and include GST unless otherwise stated.

  • We use Shopify’s secure checkout to process payments.

  • We reserve the right to cancel orders for any reason (including stock errors, pricing glitches, or if you seem shady).

  • If your payment fails, your order won’t process — basic stuff.

📦 3. Shipping & Delivery

🔁 4. Returns & Refunds

Not feeling the fit? You can return eligible items within 30 days of receiving them. Check our Returns & Refunds page for how it works.

🔐 5. Privacy & Data

We collect the usual stuff (name, email, order details) to run the shop smoothly. We don’t sell your info, and we treat your data like our best gear — with care. See our Privacy Policy for more details.

🧢 6. Product Info & Accuracy

We do our best to describe items accurately, but:

  • Colours may vary slightly depending on your screen

  • Sizing can be subjective — check the size guide

  • Fabric descriptions like “soft as” or “pie-worthy” may be poetic

⚖️ 7. Liability Stuff

We’re not liable for:

  • Delays outside our control (e.g. courier mishaps)

  • You getting mistaken for the coolest person at the hut while wearing our gear

  • Any loss, damage, or injury caused by improper use of our products

To the extent allowed by NZ law, our liability is limited to the cost of the item you bought.

We may update these terms from time to time. If it’s a big change, we’ll make it obvious. Otherwise, it’s up to you to check back if you’re worried we’ve added weird stuff (we won’t).
